Parenting without punishment:

A 2-hour course on fostering a more joyful, harmonious family life
and avoiding the ‘discipline trap’.

When we focus on understanding and meeting the needs of children, the whole idea of' discipline' becomes less and less necessary. From an evolutionary perspective, children are born cooperators ready to co-create a harmonious family life. This course teaches parents & caregivers how to work with child nature to foster a more joyful home- free of punishment!

When children act in some kind of challenging behaviours, parents and caregivers often feel conflicted about how to change that. They want to support their children and at the same time may feel triggered, overwhelmed, or worried this might never change or their children might get hurt in some way. And so often they end up punishing, threatening, or otherwise discouraging the behaviour in ways that children experience as humiliating and disconnecting.

In this course, we will focus on children’s evolved needs, why it is so important to meet them, how to do so in a way that works for your particular family, and how this will lead to different behaviour.

Did you know that for most of our evolutionary history, all parents intuitively met those needs? And children were the best behaved, kindest, most confident, and happiest they could be? This is true regardless of where in the world or when they lived.
